Trailer Pickup & Nationwide Transport

Plan tow readiness, paperwork, receiving access, route constraints, and destination-specific pricing.

Part 1

Prepare the tow system

Confirm all ratings and connections for the actual loaded trailer.

  • Tow rating and payload
  • Receiver, ball, coupler, hitch height
  • Brake controller, breakaway, chains, plug, and lights
  • Tires, pressure, lug torque, bearings, and spare
  • Mirrors, insurance, registration, and route
Part 2

Prepare the trailer

Everything needs a travel position.

  • Secure appliances, shelves, tanks, propane, doors, windows, awnings, and loose gear
  • Drain or secure fluids as appropriate
  • Photograph condition and VIN
  • Test brakes, lights, breakaway, and locks
  • Carry keys, manuals, title, and contacts
Part 3

Prepare the destination

Transport providers need exact access information.

  • Street address and receiving contact
  • Hours, gate width, turns, slope, surface, and clearance
  • Staging and unloading plan
  • Weather and schedule contingencies
  • Condition inspection and signed exceptions
